Untitled Works, 11” x 15”, Lithographic prints, 2021

I am a multidisciplinary artist with roots in the pacific northwest. I spend my time working in the studio on drawings, paintings, videos, and specialize in lithography. Through my art, I explore themes of illness, the body, memory, and self care. In 2019, I was sick with a life altering illness that incapacitated me physically for months. Beyond that, I still deal with symptoms and at times struggle to reconcile my new life with my life before illness. I hope to reach audiences that have similar shared experiences, and to give hope and care to anyone needing it. The themes in my art revolve around self acceptance and self love of an ill body, and centers around softness, embrace, and how recovery isn’t always about the hard medical side.
